One day I caught Myself Smiling

Hello Friends...

Today I am sharing a very feminine card  I made with the new March release stamp set Everyday Greetings... I am loving these paragraph sentiments..I have kept this sentiment as the main focus on my card.
I have used lots of die cuts & inking for all my layers.
All the layers have been propped up on foam dots for some dimension.
I have used ribbon, rhinestones & lots of pearls  to embellish my card.

Mother's Day Gift Box

Hello Friends,

Mother's day is coming... have you thought about what you will be gifting her?
Mothers are special & so they deserve something really special...
My mom is also into arts & crafts & she has always been my inspiration...& so I always like to gift her something I create... I feel that handmade gifts have that love & personal touch which makes them extra special...

This time I have made a decorated mdf box for her... I have used some bright spring colors for this box...
I took a square mdf box & painted it with 2 coats of black acrylic color... after the paint dried I cut out & adhered the pattern papers on all sided & the lid with mod podge & let it dry.. next I applied 2 coats of mod podge  to seal in the papers & make it waterproof...
Now comes the fun part of decorating it...
I started with a paragraph sentiment from Mother's Day Bouquet & stamped it on an inked  die cut...
This stamp set has some great sentiments & quotes  perfect for moms...& it also has a beautiful bouquet stamp...
I adhered the sentiment die cut on foam dots & added 2 heart rhinestones for some bling....
& then I arranged some flowers & flourishes on the top corner & added some pearls...

Cards & Coloring

Hello friends...

I am back after a long holiday...
I hope you all had a colorful & fun filled holi...
It took me sometime to get back to work..
I made a new card with Sara Kay digital free coloring page that I had...

The image was printed with a laser printer & then colored with distress inks & water brush..
Then I highlighted some fabric patterns on the image with a white gel pen..
I have done a lot of inking on the background pattern papers & the die cuts...
I love how distress inks change the look of papers & help in adding more depth to the project...
The card is embellished with some handmade flowers & rhinestones..

The pattern paper has little ladybugs so I added one ladybug to my flower arrangement too  :)

25th Anniversary Scrapbook

Hello friends...

Finally I am sharing this 25th anniversary photo album I made for  friend's
  inlaws.
My friend wanted to gift something very special to her inlaws on their 25th wedding anniversary. .. and she liked the idea of capturing 25 years that they have spent together in 1 single album. ..
And this was indeed a pleasant surprise for them. .. Everyone loved it. :)

My friend had seen my  handmade roses and she wanted them to be on the cover of the album and the box...
This is a very big & chunky 25th wedding anniversary album... its dimensions are 11"x11"x3.5" for the album & the box is 12.25"x12.25"x5". .. This album has 10 interactive pages & almost 100 photographs.

I had to complete it in 7 days...The real album looks more beautiful than the photographs as the photo shoot was done in a hurry because I completed it just before delivery...

We decided to keep the colors very simple, white base with embossed design, silver accents and rhinestones for pop of color. ..

The box has a see through window in the lid...I  decorated it with embossed design, silver border with red rhinestones and roses...

One side of the box falls open to make it easy to take out or put in the scrapbook & to avoid damage.

 Cover with magnetic window.
The window panels open up to reveal the wedding photographs of the Couple with names & date of wedding.

My favorite part of this scrapbook... The pretty organza ribbon bow with dangling pearls..   :)

 Inside the front cover

All the pages on the right side open up from the border to reveal more photographs..
Page when opened up...

Another interactive page element with ribbon closure.
After opening it reveals 12 photographs...
