Aster Card

Hello Friends...

I hope you all are enjoying all the newly released stamps & ribbons at IBS & the beautiful inspirations...
Today its my turn to share a card made with the stamp set that is being released today... Flower Of The Month: Aster
I stamped the flower image with black archival ink & colored with distress inks...This is such a pretty flower with lots of details... I had so much fun coloring it...
I die cut it & framed it with lacy green die cuts...
I die cut the card base & inked it... then I used a stencil & a little texture paste mixed with the same distress inks with which I colored my flowers to make my background.... I also sprinkled some clear glitter on top of the stenciled design for some shimmer...
To add a bit more oomph to the card I added some pearls & rhinestone to the design...

Hop over to IBS blog to see more inspirations using Flower Of The Month: Aster & for a chance to win $30 gift card...
I hope you like my card... thank you for visiting...

Australian Nature

Hello Friends....

Today we kick start the  release week of Inspired by Stamping's September release.... Wohooo
I am so excited to share the new cards I made with the gorgeous new stamps from IBS...
I had so much fun playing with them....
This release is awesome...
Australian Nature I is my favorite :D
It has many beautiful images that can be colored in & they are perfect for no-line water coloring technique...
The results are so beautiful.... You have to see it to believe it...
So now moving on to my card for today...

I have used the kingfisher image from Australian Nature I stamp set...
I have colored with the no-line watercolor technique using distress inks..
This image turned out so beautiful that I didn't need much to finish off the card...
I used a die cut frame embellished with some pearls to frame my colored image...& propped it with foam adhesive on a die cut & embossed top folding card base...
Hop over to IBS blog to see more inspirations using Australian Nature I & for a chance to win $30 gift card...

I hope you like my card & leave some love  :)
Thanks a lot for visiting today ...

Butterfly Hello

Hello Friends...

I have made yet another card with the hello stamp from  Summer Fun... I just love this stamp... :D

I made the green & blue border with 2 stamps from Chevrons stamp set...
Then I stamped hello from  Summer Fun on another cardstock & added some texture with stencil & modelling paste... I have also added some heat embossing with holographic glitter embossing powder on top of the stenciled design... This looks so pretty with all the texture & sparkle... :)
I added a lacy butterfly on the card as the focal point...
I love how this card turned out... I hope you like it too..

Hello, friends!

Here is the card I made for Grace...
I made a blue congratulations card since she had a sweet little baby boy...
I heat embossed the floral image from Friends Forever & colored it in with distress inks & pearlized water for watercolored look with a beautiful pearl shine... The die cut congratulations was also watercolored in the same way.. I also added some texture with stencils, modelling paste & clear glitter...

Congratulations Grace for your little bundle of joy...  :)

Sweet Pea

Hello Friends...

I am back with a card... I have tried a new ( for me ) technique in this card...
The focal image is made with faux stained glass technique...

To achieve the look I have stamped & heat embossed the sweet pea stamp from  Sweet Pea stamp set on vellum & colored it with alcohol markers on the opposite side.

I used the sentiment from Big Notes II & heat embossed it to match the focal image...
Then I added twine & some pearl dots to add the finishing touches...
Hope you like it... Thanks for visiting...

Purple Birthday Explosion Box

Hello Friends...

I have a explosion Box today to share with you all...
I love making explosion boxes...
This was made this for a girl who wanted to gift it to her best friend on her birthday..
This is how the box looks when closed with the birthday girl's pic on top & decorated with Curly Flowers & Mixed Colour of Small Flowers ...
& this is the box when the lid is removed... It has another decorated box in the center for some goodies... side panel has pix & computer generated names of the birthday girl's friends (the pix are blurred for privacy), the 2nd side panel has the die cut group name & photo, the 3rd panel has a pocket with tag for personal message & the last panel is related to few things she loves...
The birthday sentiment from Big Wishes II was perfect for the box.. I love this big & curly font... I also added the cute little fussy cut butterfly from the Spring Lilacs set...
I hope you like this box.. :)
Thank You for visiting...
